Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) - Program Requirements

Program Requirements

Students who successfully complete the MSN option will be eligible to sit for the Nurse Educator Certification exam (NLN).

Degree Requirements

Advancement to candidacy for the MSN degree requires:

• Satisfactory completions of the required core, advanced practice and specialty courses with a grade of B or higher.
• Students must be fully classified at the time of graduation (in order to be fully classified, students must have the following: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, 3.0 GPA in their cumulative post-graduate course work, and have completed either the GRE or UDWPE, or both, if required). Students who score a minimum of 3 in the Analytical Writing section of the GRE are exempt from the UDWPE.
• Satisfactory completion of the clinical training courses
• Satisfactory completion of the Comprehensive Exam
